Hi, I’m Nat. I am an Acupuncturist who specialises in Fertility and Women’s Health.
I am passionate about offering a safe and private space ensuring everyone is heard and offer much needed support while trying to conceive. It is important for me to provide an evidence based and holistic approach to fertility. I am here to optimise your health, help with stress and anxiety during pregnancy and give you as much knowledge about how to increase your chances of pregnancy.
I started studying acupuncture after a trip to Sri Lanka. During my time doing relief work out there, I met an acupuncturist who really helped me when I found nothing else worked.
This practitioner inspired me to read further into the practice and soon after I decided to begin studying.
Since then, acupuncture has been an essential part of my life.
My Experience
I have a degree in acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and completed an advanced acupuncture course in China where I worked alongside the Chinese acupuncturists in the hospitals of Beijing.
My professional experience is diverse and includes work within a charity at a clinic in Sri Lanka and as the contracted acupuncturist on two luxury cruise liners.
After this, I started using my acupuncture travelling. I treated lots of surfing injuries through central and South America, and Canada. After that I worked from a hotel in Newquay where I stayed for 4 years until the Covid pandemic happened. After the initial lockdown, I set up a clinic on the side of my house where I stayed for another 3 years.
In 2023 I designed and set up The Hide clinic at Lanteague and this has been the home of Healing Waves Acupuncture ever since, alongside other health and wellness practitioners.

Client Reviews
“I have seen Nat when both of my pregancies got to 41+ weeks and the talk of medical inductions began. Keen to avoid a medical induction, I decided to give acupuncture a go. The treatment itself was incredibly relaxing and not remotely painful. Nat is also a lovely person with a very kind, grounding presence. Incredibly, BOTH times I went into labour a few hours after the treatment..”
— Client"Hey Nat! You helped me so much, not only through Acupuncture but understanding my body, what my body needed and how to help me PCOS.
I just can't express enough how thankful I am and to have had you on our journey. You played a HUGE part in making it all happen and I dont think she would be here without you! We are forever grateful for you, your time and your advice. You became such a sounding board for me and someone I really trust."
— Client"I was lucky enough to be recommended to Nat and started having sessions focusing on fertility with her from around Autumn 23. From the offset Nat was kind, caring, understanding and made me feel extremely at ease. Her laid back, non judgemental attitude was key in being able to share my sensitive history of multiple early pregnancy losses. Her knowledge and support has been second to none. I can honestly say hand on my heart, I don't think I would be just about to give birth to my first baby without her help. Nat helped to reduce my monthly bleed from 7 days to consistently being 3/4 days with less pain. Nat has a mountain of wisdom when it comes to accuputure, but also advice on other options which helped to support our fertility journey. My partner also started seeing Nat regularly and she has really helped him with fertility and injuries.
Both of our appreciation for Nat and her work will last for the rest of time, we couldn't recommend her services any more!"
